Hello and welcome, my name is Gary Ricardo Vine. I used to work in the gaming industry until a few years ago, but it’s OK because I didn’t really like it anyway. My work took me to the finest casinos in the world – Las Vegas, Atlantic City, Monaco. I’ve lived and breathed the lifestyle – the adrenaline, the anticipation, the excitement.
Now I’m moving into the business world with my own company. It’s called Gary Vine Associates. In a nutshell, it’s a drop-in centre where anyone can come in and ask for advice from me, Gary Vine. I’m also shaking up the conference circuit with some hard-hitting speeches, showing everyone how they could learn from the Gary Vine way of doing business.
I live in Manchester with my partner Anya. When I’m not in business-mode, I like to take time out in stylish bars like Circle, Cloud 23 and Panacea. Sure, I enjoy the finer things in life – for me, it’s Champagne and cocktails or nothing. Unlike many men, I also enjoy shopping for suits and other designer clothes. Like I always say, first impressions count.
My lifestyle has always been fast-paced and energetic, so I occasionally feel the need to wind down too. I socialise with mates over an HBO DVD boxset or an episode of Family Guy. Beers are drunk, stories are told, that’s how I roll. Thanks to my experience of the gaming industry, I’ve also learned how to make money from my love of gambling. Show me a blackjack or roulette table and I’m there, while what I don’t know about horse racing isn’t worth knowing.
